Western United Confirm Signing of Cyril Kamara; Midfielder Vows to Give "Everything for the Badge"

Western United Football Club is delighted to officially announce the signing of highly-rated midfielder Cyril Kamara from Murray Town Football Foundation. The new acquisition, who joins the 'Wild Dogs' to bolster the squad, expressed his immense joy and gratitude upon completing the move. In his first official statement as a Western United player, Kamara shared his excitement: "Alhamdulillah! I am delighted to announce I have joined my new family at Western United. I am happy and honored to give everything for the badge and help the team achieve our goals." The midfielder also took a moment to express his deep appreciation for his former club, extending his gratitude to the management, technical team, and his former teammates at Murray Town Football Foundation. He offered special accolades to Alpha Sow, Abass Angelo, and Zokora, as well as his brothers Ayo and La, thanking them for their "words of courage and strength during this difficult time." Addressing the fans, Kamara provided an update on his fitness, explaining his absence from recent matchday squads. "The season has started, but I am currently sidelined due to injury and working hard every day to return stronger, which is why fans haven't seen me in action," he explained. Despite the setback, the new signing remains deeply connected to the community, emphasizing the unifying power of the club. "To the whole Murray Town community and every Westerner, please know this club belongs to all of us, not just because I am one of your own, but because it carries the name Western United." The club welcomes Cyril to the Wild Dogs family and wishes him a swift and strong recovery as he prepares to make his mark on the pitch.
