Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Noda Score is operated by Noda Sports in Sierra Leone. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and the choices you have.

2. What we collect

• Installation ID. The first time you open the app, it creates a random identifier and stores it on your phone. It is not your name, phone number or device serial, and on its own it cannot identify you.
• Your favorites. The teams and competitions you favorite, stored on your phone and on our servers against your installation ID, so your alerts work and follower counts are accurate.
• Predictions and votes. Score predictions and Player of the Match votes, stored with an identifier so each fan’s entry is counted once.
• Notification details. To send alerts, Google’s Firebase Cloud Messaging gives your phone a push token, which we subscribe to the teams, competitions and matches you choose.
• Sponsor views and taps. When a sponsor is shown or tapped, we record which one, where in the app, and when. These records are not linked to your installation ID.
• Crash reports. If the app crashes, technical details — app version, phone model, operating system and the error — are sent to our crash reporting service so we can fix it. They do not include screenshots.
• Staff accounts. If you sign in to operate matches or manage content, we process your name, email address, role, profile details, and the content and actions you submit. If you choose a profile photo, we store that photo.

3. What we don’t collect

For fans who browse anonymously, we do not require a name, email address or phone number. The app does not request contacts or location. If you contact support, we receive the address and details you provide. Staff may provide account details and profile photos as described above.

4. How we use it

• To show scores, fixtures and statistics for the teams and competitions you care about
• To send the alerts you have asked for
• To count followers, votes and predictions
• To find and fix problems in the app
• To report total reach to sponsors and league partners — for example, how many fans follow a club or saw a sponsor. These reports are totals, never information about individual fans.

5. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the app, and they process data only on our behalf:

• Supabase — our database and servers
• Google Firebase — push notifications
• Sentry — crash reporting

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

6. Where it is stored

Our service providers may store and process information on servers outside Sierra Leone. We choose providers that protect it to recognised industry standards.

7. How long we keep it

Your favorites, predictions and votes are kept while you use the app. Uninstalling Noda Score deletes everything stored on your phone, including your installation ID. After that, what remains on our servers can no longer be connected to you or your phone. Crash reports are deleted automatically after a limited period.

To remove your favorites from our servers, remove them in the app before uninstalling. Staff can request deletion from their account screen. We review requests, remove account data unless retention is legally required, and confirm completion by email.

8. Your choices

• Add and remove favorite teams and competitions at any time
• Turn alerts on or off for any match, in the app or in your phone’s settings
• Uninstall the app to remove everything stored on your phone
• Request deletion of a staff account in the account screen
• Email us with any question or request about your information

9. Children

Noda Score is a general sports app and doesn’t ask anyone for personal information. It is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.

10. Security

Information travels between the app and our servers encrypted, and access to our systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what we hold.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this policy, change the date at the top, and tell you in the app.
